Kobe Precision

Kobe Precision, Inc. (KPI) was a solid computer disc manufacturer in Hayward, California, established in 1988. In this facility KPI utilized over 200 tools, including wafer reclamation equipment and wet processes to their products. In 2010, KPI closed their facility. SRI provide a closure plan, and work with closure contractors to successfully close this facility, obtaining a completion letter from Hayward Fire Department. In this letter, Fire Department used SRI’s final closure report as an example for other facility closures.
